Hanging by a thread
or as it seems
in a moment, dashed,
are all our dreams
life can take a turn
and then a swerve
spinning in a circle
around a curve
hanging to the rope
she fights for life
shouting to be heard
above the strife
hold on, God, please
don't let her go
hanging on to her
just let her know
that she can relax
and lean on you
you're the only one
to get her through
carry her along
don't let her fall
not until she's given
you her all. .
